Nowhere on their site says you have to be an American to visit. Drove 70 miles out of route to be turned away at the gate

I happen to enjoy this museum .. eepecially the presentation and the memorabilia as well as how he was respected by local communities in Europe (that cart is quite an artwork .. read the notes on the carvings/paintings)
